Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction.


These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Bay Mobile, a mobile oil change service provider, and the customer ("Customer") who utilizes Provider's services. By Booking Online and using the services of Bay Mobile, customer accept and agrees to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully.


2. Service Description.


Provider offers mobile oil change services to Customers at their specified location. The service includes the following:


2.1. Oil change using high-quality motor oil and a new oil filter.


2.2. Inspection of the vehicle's fluid levels and top-offs, if necessary.


2.3. Inspection of the vehicle's tires and inflation, if necessary.


2.4. Disposal of used oil and oil filter in an environmentally responsible manner.


2.5. Inspection or air filter, replace if necessary


2.6. Inspection of battery, replace if necessary


2.7. Inspection of wiper blades, replace if necessary.


2.8. Car Wash: offers an optional car wash service, including exterior washing and drying.


2.9. Interior Cleaning: An optional interior cleaning service, including vacuuming, dashboard wipe-down, and interior window cleaning.



2.10. The Customer understands and agrees that unless otherwise requested by the vehicle owner, Bay Mobile will service vehicle in accordance with the vehicle’s manufacturer requirements. This includes the use specified oils and filters as they are applicable to various manufacturer guidelines and standards.


2.11. The Customer understands and agrees that should they request the Bay Mobile technician utilize a lower grade of oil or part than recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, that the customer is responsible for any immediate and or future ramifications such as premature engine wear from the use of conventional oil in a vehicle requiring synthetic oil.


3. Bookings, Cancellation's and Payment.


3.1. The Customer understands and agrees that if they cancel or are otherwise unavailable for Bay Mobile service appointment in circumstances where less than 24-hours notice is provided, there will be no charge to account or credit card. Should circumstances arise where the vehicle is unavailable for service, or the customer is unreachable upon arrival of Bay Mobile designated technician, NO late fee will apply. 


3.2. Should the customer remain unreachable for their booked appointment, they will be canceled 15-minutes after the scheduled appointment time.


3.3. Payment for all services is due upon completion.


3.4. Payment: Payment for services can be made online at the time of booking or in-person upon completion of services. Bay Mobile accepts various payment methods, including credit/debit cards or cash.


4. Service Location and Access.


4.1. Location: The Customer must provide an accessible location for the service within Provider's service area. The location should be safe for Bay Mobile technicians to perform the service.


4.2. The Customer understands and agrees to have their vehicle prepared for service 15-minutes prior to the scheduled service appointment; meaning that the term “prepared for service” constitutes parking the vehicle in a safe, low traffic location with the vehicles engine and hood facing outward, unobstructed, and easily accessible.


4.3. Bay Mobile provides services exclusively on locations where the customers have the consent of the property owner or manager to operate. The customer understands this term and agrees to have arranged all necessary permissions required to service the vehicle in the location it will be parked at the time specified above. The Customer understands that failure to arrange these permissions may result in Bay Mobile being removed from the service location mid-service.


5. Customer Responsibilities, Distribution of keys.


5.1. Accuracy of Information: The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process, including the vehicle type, location, and contact details.


5.2. Vehicle Condition: The Customer should ensure that the vehicle is in a safe and operable condition for an oil change.


5.3 The Customer understands and agrees that the vehicle keys shall only be distributed to the individual who provides them to the technician, and understands that they will not have access to the interior of vehicle while it is being serviced and while the keys are in the possession of the Bay Mobile technician.


6. Bay Mobile Cancellation and Rescheduling.


6.1. Cancellation by Bay Mobile: Bay Mobile reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather or technical issues. In such cases, Bay Mobile will make reasonable efforts to notify the Customer in advance and reschedule.


7. Warranty.


7.1. Bay Mobile offers a limited warranty on its oil change services. If the Customer experiences any issues related to the oil change service within [14 days] of the service date, they should contact Bay Mobile for a resolution.


8. Liability and Personal Property.


8.1. Bay Mobile is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle that is not a direct result of the oil change service and or other add on services.


8.2. Bay Mobile is not liable for any personal injury or property damage that occurs during the service unless it is a direct result of Bay Mobile's negligence.


8.3. The Customer understands and agrees that Bay Mobile takes no responsibility for valuables or other personal property stored inside the vehicle while it is being serviced. The customer understands that Bay Mobile technician will be working underneath and around the car, and the belongings inside the car may not be supervised at all times. Customers understand that it is their responsibility to ensure valuables and personal property have been removed from vehicle prior to Bay Mobile service.


9. Privacy.


9.1. Bay Mobile will NOT collect and use Customer's personal information to be distributed or sold for any reason.


10. Governing Law.


10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].


11. Changes to Terms.


11.1. Bay Mobile reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes, and the revised Terms will be posted on Bay Mobile's website.
